Hello everyone! I haven't been on here in weeks and I wanted to check in with you all to see how you are doing. I've had one hell of a chaotic couple of weeks. It started off with a major snowstorm and we got about 2.5-3 feet of snow. We were stuck in the house and couldn't leave for over a week. I even missed almost 2 weeks of school because I couldn't get down my driveway, much less off this mountain I live on! Then my Mom had a massive heart attack last week and she almost died. But thankfully she is out of the hospital now and doing pretty good. And then I've had little things going on like car trouble and what-not.

Needless to say, it's been nothing but chaos lately and I'm really looking forward to going back to my boring life ASAP! As far as my health goes....obviously the stress is a major problem and wreaking havoc on my body. But instead of completely fighting it I'm trying to get as much sleep as I can. So basically I go to school and run my errands that need to be done and then I come home and go straight to bed.

I guess that's about it....I hope everyone is doing okay, you have all been in my thoughts every day. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend....Stacey :o)

I am new to this board but have seen many post from you over time.

I am very sorry to hear of the time you've been having. I am very happy to hear about the recovery of your mom. Hopefully, that has helped to reduce the stress.

I've deducted that your schooling is a new decision -- based on previous post. Congrats on your decision! I can imagine with fibro that it takes that much more dedication. Although in a recent discussion with my rheumatologist I think I've determined that I've been suffering from fibro since I was in high school and diagnosed with costochondritis. I never put two and two together until I came to this board.

Sorry this post wasn't supposed to be about me :) I just wanted to recognize your contributions to this board and wish you a much less stressful period in your life!

I look forward to continuing to read your post and learn more and more from this board.

hello stacey! I've been wondering what's been going on with you. sorry to hear about all your stress. hopefully things will calm down for you now. You were the first one to reach out to me when I joined this board. I hadn't been on for a while myself but when I did I noticed you hadn't posted for a while either. So I figured Fantod would know how you were. I know I am not the only one that missed reading your posts!

Glad to hear you are getting as much rest as you can. You are a strong lady! It's good to hear from you! Keep in touch when you can!

Wow, when it rains (snows) it pours! Stacey, glad to hear you and your family have made it through this batch of stuff.

Applause to you that you have remained in school and are getting some sleep. Wishing you the best, and speedy recovery to your mom. Take care.

stacy- I dont know you. I am kind of new to this site. I am glad your mother is getting better. When I read peoples story, it helps me. I know it sounds funny, but I have pitty party days sometimes. I look if you are doing all that maybe I can do better for myself. I have to help myself and it can be hard some days. Keep up the good work!

Thank You Everyone for the the nice thoughts. Once again, it's been forever since I was on has just been way too busy lately. whew...I need a break! anyways....I just wanted to thank you all and I hope everyone is doing okay. Stacey :o)

It is Jennifer. I am glad to see you are back on the board. We all know how hard it can be dealing with everyday stress and pain. It sounds like you have really been going through some things. I am sorry and wish there was something I could do for you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers :)

And I am doing the same ol same ol. Trying to work and take care of my daughter myself. The weather has had a HUGE impact on my pain levels as well. Go to the doctor tomorrow. Haven't been sleeping, hurting worse than normal and just really depressed and anxious. Talk to you soon!

Stacey373 - March 23

Hi Jennifer! I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling good. It seems like you never get a chance to feel good. You really need to talk to your doctor and get this figured out. I know that even with the right combination of meds we don't ever seem to feel 100% better....but it seems to me that you should be able to get some sort of relief from this horrible disease. Does that make sense?!? lol

let me know what the doctor says, Take care of yourself....Stacey :o)
