I am trying to get feedback on the best theapy for pain relief, should I buy a hot tub, or is a steam room better? A Chiropractor told me a sauna would be better, please help with your personal feedback. What are you using that is effective in pain relief. I am so confused now. Thanks

That's hard to answer it really depends on how severe your symptoms not one person has the same symptoms, I have to take narcotics for pain relief, granted hot tubs do work but only short term, if I could afford a hot tub I would buy one of those. if it helped me.

A heating pad helps me tremendously and so does our hot tub !! Too bad doctors can't prescribe them and insurance pay huh ? : ) Good luck !

Hi Al. I will just say medications. Hot showers and heating pads help but if you can get a hot tub it would be enjoyable but quite expensive for not relieveing the problem for a prolonged period of time.

The time that I spend in a hot tub is the only time that I feel "normal". This is worth so much for me and decreases my stress level. Before bed, it helps take the bite off of my pain and let me relax enough to get some sleep. I say go for it.
