RED WINE WORKS FOR ME!!!
AND... LOTS OF PILLS....

I am taking Celexa and occasionally valium when I have a bad anxiety attack. I would watch red wine though. I have had very bad FMS flare ups after drinking red wine and my doctor told me that the phosphates or fermentation may be the cause.

I am taking Mirtazapine on a nightly basis....I have been for a couple years now, it helps a little, good to talk to your doctor about

Just left my primary care doctors office. I was diagnosed with Fibro over 7 years ago by a Rheumatologist and have been able to manage with medication without problems. I was able to stop taking medication about 6 months ago and have "toughed out" flares. I am now having terrible pain, unable to get comfortable to sleep and am miserable most of my waking hours. My new PCP kind of looks at me like Im crazy with these symptoms but is willing to treat and has offered Neurontin, as I have taken it in the past. She has also scheduled me to see a Rheumatologist since my ANA came back positive. When will Fibro sufferers stop getting"the look" from people like we are crazy. I know what I am feeling ! I am a RN and hate to feel like I am begging to be treated !!
