does anyone else have hot and cold sensitivity in their teeth? TY

I do. I can't stand cold on my teeth it hurts so bad, but hot i don't really have a problem with unless i had something cold and hot right after. Whenever i go to the dentist or my orthodontist i have to let them know my teeth are very sensitive so they make sure when they put that cold water on my teeth they have the sucker tube to get it before it can really aggravate my teeth. There is really nothing i know to do for it. I hoped this helped.

My teeth and gums are very sensitive, I use a toothpaste called sensodyne which helps some.

I use sensodine and it does not help, I gargle with Act now as directed by dr, but it has not helped, no cavitys, is this another perk of Fibro?
It seems to hurt more on my fillings. but they are not loose according to Dentist they are fine.

if sensodine does not work for you, I'd try another tooth paste made for sensitive teeth and use it regularly, it should help, it works buy putting up a barrier where the cold/hot could effect nerves and cause pain, or maybe talk to a dentist and explain how you've tried sensodine and it didn't work. For me, my pain is caused by my gums moving upwards, slowly exposing nerve, this has happened probably because I have brushed my teeth to roughly in the past so now I have to brush in a motion as to not make the gums worse.

HI
Thanks for the recommendations everyone, My Dentist recommended I use Act after brushing. I did this he said it would probably take about 2 bottles. It has helped alot. It did have to due to the nerve exposure as I am an agressive bursher. He also recommended a rotating brush and not to apply pressure. :)
