nicki1973 - I am very sorry to read about your situation. It is very hard as someone with Fibromyalgia (FMS) to convey to a healthy person how debilitating and overwhelming this syndrome can be on a daily basis.

I commend you for trying to help your partner by identifying treatment options. But, I also have to ask if she was invested in any way in the process. I am guessing that she may not have been and therefore since nothing seems to work, you have become the target.

Or, conversely, she feels a tremedous amout of guilt for what she perceives to be a burden and is deliberately trying to drive you away.

Either way, if there is any chance of salvaging the relationship, you will have to try counseling. If she refuses to go than I think that your only option is to leave. You can no longer help her if she will not help herself. In my mind, you have done what a loving and committed partner should do in a relationship. It is a two way street; you deserve some peace in your life. Find it with her, or without her. Good luck and God Bless.

Hi nicki1973 - I agree with Fantod. it sounds like you have been 100% supportive and if your partner can't see that, that's HER fault, not YOURS. I also think counseling, any form of it, would help your relationship. She is probably very depressed and angry with this illness and she is just taking it out on you. She has to learn to live WITH this disease....she has to find it within herself to do this...you can't do it for her.

I'm curious to find out what exactly she is doing to help herself right now? What medications is she taking? Does she push herself or does she know when to stop? How is she really dealing with this illness, if at all?

Honestly, this forum would be a good place for her. I'm sure she feels completely alone with all of this (even though you are right there with her) and this forum is a good place for her to come. We all found this forum because we so desperately needed to know that there are other people out there who truly understand what we are going through. Plus everyone on here has a lot of helpful suggestions that might be able to help her to deal with this better (physically and mentally) maybe you could suggest she check this site out. At some point she needs to start dealing with this....and this is a good place to start.

I hope you can get this straightened out....I wish you both the best of luck. And remember, you are always welcome on here to vent too! Take care, Stacey :o)

Hi Nikki,
I would like to share an experience that me and my mom went thru. She had many doctors that shez been with. Now, My mother went to the a new doctor about 4 months ago and the doctor refereed my mom to go and order a product online to try for her fibro. Its an all natural product. She said this product has the highest antioxidants in the world. Its called Kyani. Well, I and my mother tried it at the same time with in the 2ed week I started not feeling the pain. For my mothers fibro it took a month and a half till she really felt the fibromyalgia begin to cease. Within the 3 weeks my mom started sleeping and it has been 14 years since she slept thru the night and now she is snoozing away. I asked the doctor if I can give this info to friends and family and she said its for everyone who would like to order. I call Kyani's customer service at #208-529-9872 #283378 my mom orders online at Kyani.net and give them the docs Distributor #283378 The three product that Dr. Baird let us know about is Nitro Extreme, kyani sunrise and kyani sunset. I just went ahead nd got my own membership #.This stuff truly works and wished that all doctors knew about this. Well, All I can say is try it for yourself. I cant believe that doctors dont know about this. Please, Can you look into this. There are thousands of people that needs help and this is what they need.
