hi. I was diagnosed with FM almost 15 years ago. I don't have a question - just wanted to put this out there - Nobody could explain my pain. I went through all of the doctors and the "it's all in your mind" thing. Once I found a doctor who took me seriously and got a diagnosis, they tried to give me all kinds of pain meds, which just made me useless in all other areas of my life. I looked for other pain management.

the thing that helped the most was YOGA (and the deep breathing associated with it)

The other thing that helped a little bit was hypnosis.

The hard truth, though, is that you will probably never live pain-free. You must learn the acceptance and deal with the pain. I still get flair-ups, but now I can manage it.
