I took a half of a Klonapin last night with my other meds. I SLEPT!! Finally!!! Not completely pain free today, but MUCH better than last few days! It's so nice to be in a great, happy mood! Enjoying!!!

Ang - That is wonderful news! I'm really happy that you have some relief. Just be careful not to overdo it. Happy Christmas to you and your family.

Thanks, Fantod!

I had to laugh at myself yesterday. Took the dog for a walk around the neighborhood. I almost called my husband to drive down the road and get us because my hips decided to act up. LOL!! I made it home though.
I am so thankful for a day like today though. I'll try the Klonapin again tonight and hope for the same effect tomorrow. I promise not to overdo it today! I intend to forget Real Estate today, finish up what little Christmas shopping I have left, then go home and kick my feet up for the night! May even have some spiked eggnogg!
Merry Christmas to you and yours as well, and I pray you have a wonderful Holiday full of love and joy and minimal symptoms.

Klonopin gives a nice sleep but tolerance to that effect grows fast.

Noca,

That is my fear. They were prescribed to me about three weeks ago now. I have only taken 2 and one half pills for sleep. I so do not want to develop a tolerance or a dependency on them, or any other med for that matter.
I have a 5 year old son, and I do not want to become the mother that can't participate in her child's life due to any substance dependency.

sherrodguy don't get me wrong, it sounds like Klonopin could be a very effective drug in your treatment of FMS. Just make sure its under the supervision of a medical professional.
