I have severe arm/shoulder pain all the time. At times I can't brush my teeth or dry my hair without pain. Help I feel like giving up

Don't give up. It may be fibro, or something else. Have you seen a doctor about your pain? See what they say and go from there. Keep hanging in there. It'll get better.

Just last week, I could not raise my left arm above shoulder height without excruciating pain. It subsided within a day or two. So pain like that can be associated with FMS, but you really should see a doc about it. Before being diagnosed with FMS, I had seen an orthopedic doc for my various flare-ups over a course of year. I think he was beginning to think I was some sort of nut and finally told me that I should see a rheumatologist.

I have migratory pain with my FMS so I get shoulder pain, especially in my right shoulder. Depending on the severity of the flare-up, the pain lasts for 2-7 days to where I can't lft my arm. Then it goes away like I never had it.
