Vision and Fibromyalgia
3 Replies
Marla - June 4

My vision seems to be rapidly changing. Recently I had my eye prescpition changed (less than 6 months ago) and now it seems that I need to hav my eyes checked again. Additionally, I have experienced loss of vision. My vision starts to get blury then I can't see at all. Are there any links between Fibromyalgia and vision problems?

If you are having vision problems it may be to your best interest to see a neurologist. The eyes operate by the brain and you need to get certain things ruled out.

I've read that your vision can be blurred by pain medication. I had to look it up myself because I have trouble with my vision going fuzzy. (I take 1800mg of ibuprofen a day.)
Good luck.

Yes, pain medication can cause blurred vision but if you find you have trouble with your vision before seeing a doctor I still suggest you see a neurologist. My vision went before I saw a doctor and before medication so I'm just saying.
