Varieties of fibro-fog
4 Replies
barbar - December 7

I've noticed some subtleties in our fibro-fog. There is, of course, the main blaster fog that knocks you out completely but I have also noticed a far more subtle fibro-fog that is more like a mist. You aren't really aware it's there until it moves along. It just makes you feel a little less attentive. You don't pick up on as much as you would normally do. Your awareness is shut down a little bit. Be on the watch for this. Barbar

Fibro fog/mist is my worse symptom. I have pain but I have learned to live with it. I will admit some times that it's difficult but I am lucky, I don't work outside my home so I can rest when ever need be. The fibro fog became so bad I had neuropsychological testing done a few months ago. The test showed that I do have memory loss. I will need to be re-tested in a year to compare my results. I don't look forward to re-testing because it is a long day ( test lasted 7 hours) and it is hard on me mentally and physically. So yes, I know that misty/fog feeling very well. It is as though my brain has left the building, I'm there but I'm not there. Also, I would like to send my sympathies to all of Barbars friends and family. She was and will forever be an angel. You memory may not be a loss. Mine was just in "mothballs". For 20 years.

Read all of www.FibroFix.com/testimony.html

It's about my faith, but also tells most of the things that happened up to and including the treatment method I am using.

The real me was still there, just clogged up.

Anne
