I took a hepatitis b vaccine for work and had a reaction. I have been dx with fibromyalgia. Can a vaccine cause fibromyalgia ?

I don't know but we don't have a lot of reported incidence of it until after the major vaccination campaigns of the fifties and sixties.

It depends on what type of Hepatitis B Vaccine was administered to you. Some Hep. B vaccines can cause a general inflammatory response. In February, 2013, the FDA withheld licensing for "Heplisav", citing concerns that it may cause more of an autoimmune response. Therefore, it sounds as though you might have experienced either an inflammatory or autoimmune response.

How long has this been known of? I got a Hep B vaccine years ago for nursing school - and later a diagnosis of fibro!
