I really don't know if I have fibromyalgia or not.
I have had suspicions for some time, but of course have not received any definitive answers.

Right now, I have such a horrible sensation of complete hardness in the muscles in my legs. It's like the muscles are hard as a board or cement and it is extremely painful to move. It feels like things are ripping apart in my legs with each step.

Unfortunately, there is no money -- at all -- for doctors. No heath insurance, no nothing.

Have joined this forum to hopefully find some support, if this sounds anything like fibromyalgia, would appreciate feedback.

Hi wickets, It's a fibro symptom but could also deal with a back/spinal/disc situtation. Where do you live? I'm from Canada and its so hard to realize that in some places medical concerns can't be handled. Maybe someone from the area you live can log in and suggest how you can get some help.

Wickets, I am in the same boat!! I have no insurance, money & I don't quaify for medacide!! The system in the US is BROKEN & in bad need of repair!! Do you live in the US? If so what state? I'm from SW MIssouri. They have clinics in my area that see you based on your income. My viists cost 15 dollars. Some basic tests are also based on income. There is also a drug program where you can get some meds for free. You should be able to find help by calling your local ER or looking in the yellow pages. The only down side to this is that you are stuck with any doctor the clinic hires! This can mean you get docs that don't care much & if you find a good doc they aren't there LONG!! Hope this helps!
