Undiagnosed Pain

Joanne Howard - January 27

For two years, since my bilateral mastectomy, I have had on-going pain. At first, the pain was bearable. It started in my chest, sharp, stabbling, ice-pick like pain. I have been to 13 doctors including psychiatrist and psychologist. Every symptom listed had been spoke of with each and every doctors. I have been told it is in my mind. Today, I typed in soft-tissue pain and this disease was revealed. Help me.

Hi Joanne: You have had a very hard time. You've had a bilateral mastectomy which to me implies cancer is this right? if so then depression can cause some of your symptoms as well. Also having such a trauma could also cause this solt tissue pain that brought you to this site. I would suggest to get a diagnosis. It would be best to see a Rheumatologist, they diagnose fibrmyalgia if that be the case and go from there. I wish I could help you more but you need theses answers first.
