Trigger point injections are made with botox to deaden the nerve so you won't feel the pain in your back. The thing to remember is that it dosen't stop there, they are expensive and you have to keep getting them. I myself would find another way. Talk with your Rheumatologist about it or a pain center.

I have had two in my neck. It seemed to help for a few days but not the answer. My insurance company paid out over $1,300. each. I don't think I will get anymore even with my insurance company paying the bill.

I have had some relief from the Fenix Rehab trigger point board. I bought the Lotus Point one and I really like it. I bring it with me everywhere. I tried the trigger point injections. They are costly and not worth it.

Linda; A friend of mine that has R.A. & FMS had these done and they really helped her along with getting Physical Therapy. I don't know what kind she had. I am praying for you.

I see a pain management doctor and he has given me two injection's in my neck and today he gave me one on the inside of my knee. This is like surgery where you get an IV and they track the injection on a screen. Unfortunatly they ones in the neck gave a little bit of help but all five tender points hurt and you can't get five injection's at one time.

I want to visit my home in Mich. and am trying so hard to feel better I decided I would try the knee. Just had it at 2:00 today so don't know if it will help but pray it will. God Bless
