Treatment in rural areas?

I live in a pretty rural area and medical facilities are very limited. I spoke with Allsup about SSDI and they told me that without a specialist to support me, I will most likely not qualify for SSDI.

Do any other people live in rural areas? How do you find adaquate medical care? Having health problems is hard enough, but not being able to get satisfactory treatment makes things even worse.

Go to the National Fibromyalgia Association website and register. Then you will be able to see fibro-friendly healthcare professionals in your state. Unfortunately, You will have to travel to get treatment. Many people in rural areas are forced to do that to get the medical care that they need. Take care.
