Is anyone else taking Tramadol for their fibro please?
Doc put me on...its not helping with my sleep but is easing some of the pain.(stay awake all night but no stiffness)
I am on 200 modified release very 12 hours, every 2 hourse i feel so light headed i need to sit back and close my eyes for at least half an hour.
Is anyone else using this?
thanks

When I went for a 2nd opinion, the Rheumy wrote me a prescription for tramadol but I rarely take it. He says you can take while using tylenol. It makes be sleeping but most meds do. I notice minor relief when I use it which is mostly when I'm at work and have to sit for long periods of time.

Used it for 2 years for pain. Doc took me off of it. At first I was mad but realized it's not good for your body. Amitriptiline for sleep helps, its a pain reliever as well as sleeping agent. I am being tested now for it but have had it for years. Many a doctor thought I was mental because of multiple symptoms. I recommend natural ways, even the meds for depression gave me BAD headaches. #1 killer in USA is prescription side effects. Take peoples suggestions for natural remedies. Walk, talk, etc. Find what works.Sincerely, V

Tramadol didn't work for me. Try some lavender products to help you sleep. I got some stuff from Bath & Body Works. The body wash, the lotion and the spray. It does really help.

I took it for pain and it made me violently ill. I almost went to Emergency because my reaction was so bad. I came close to passing out, vomited, had bowel issues and had tremors all over my body. Nothing I want to repeat anytime soon. I'll stick with Amitriptyline and some holistic remedies.

I take Tramadol for my fibro and it really helps me. I take it every 4 to 6 hours so you must be taking a different type of release kind than I'm taking. Good luck!

I gained 50 lbs on Tramadol. When I quit the drug, I lost it all. Try Cymbalta, it is great.
