I suffer from Hep C with severe symptoms. I also suffer from spinal cord damage due to an accident where I broke a lot of back and neck bones. So I deal with severe pain. My Doctors also think I have fibromyalgia. What is this? I am male, so I am not sure I have this. I have arm and leg pain, but experience no "buttons" that set it off, yet when my arms and legs (and back and neck) hurt, they hurt severely. I am on long time oxycodone, and morphine sulfate, and now amyltriptolyne

Hi Allen: You have gone through quite alot of acute trauma with your body and I think the doctors are not ruling out Fibromyalgia along with your medical history. I suggest to read all you can on Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome in order to get a complete understanding on these conditions. I am so very sorry that you are experiencing this much pain but am glad that your doctors are at least trying to make you comfortable. Go to www.sover.net/~devstar/cmpsdef.htm
This site should give you a good understanding and also for your family and friends and the people who care for you. this will help them understand.
