I get so upset everytime a new person shows up here and subscribes to this theory-There is nothing that can be done," or "It is all in your head." ...............................
This is a myth. There is alot that can be done and you can experience life without any symptoms. I am 80% there. It is just a matter of educating yourself and being open and finding a doctor that is open. And for those of you that don't have insurance or can't afford getting healed at the Fibro and Fatigue centers I will be glad to help you get your questions answered. For the newbies here - please read Mary Sholom's book " Living well with Fibromyalgia, what your doctor doesn't tell you that you need to know". This will save you years of running around to many different doctors. There is a huge community of doctors that have experienced fibro and fatigue themselves and have been healed and have healed thousands of patients. If your doctor is telling you " There is nothing that can be done," or "It is all in your head." then you have the wrong doctor. Please read my two other posts - Multi-faceted Treatment Approach is Best " and "The six components". I will be glad to answer any questions that anyone has in an effort to help you get well and help you throw away that horrible myth "There is nothing that can be done,"
