tender swollen lymph nodes
2 Replies
Christina - December 28

I have been told I have Fibromyalgia about 2 years ago. For most of the time since then I have had slightly swollen lymph nodes under my jaw. They are painful some times. My doctor has checked them and he said just to watch them to make sure they don't get bigger. I have read in a few places that people with Fibro can have this. Has anyone else with fibro experienced this? I am curious because it really gets me nervous.

Hi Christina: Go to webmd and type in lymph nodes and it will give you the facts and reasons why your lymph nodes could be swollen and then you can ask your doctor about what you have read and be able to ask him the right questions or get explanation of why yours could be swollen. I, myself have not experienced this. Take Care

I have this, the doctors can't for sure say why, but I think it is part of fibro, but do as the doctors say, just keep a check on it ! Mine swell often, I do not even have to have an infection, such as upper respitory, sinus, etc. But when I have a infection they do get a bit larger and more tender and sore ! Good Luck !!
