Leslie,
My 15 year old daughter was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia too! It's heartbreaking to see my daughter suffer so much both physically and mentally.

I would love to chat. Not exactly sure what to do since I just joined. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hugs,
Lisa

Leslieperletz,
I am so sorry to hear that. To suffer from FMS at such a young age has got to be so very frustrating for her/him. It's difficult to "look on the bright side" for a child that age, but if she/he can, it'll be an easier cross to bear.
Praying for ya'll.

Hi,
I am 28 and was diagnosed when I was 11. At that time people didnt know much about fibro and I did not have suport from my family. My mom used to say that I was lazy and I felt guilt for not helping more in the house. I am saying all this for you to understand that fibro can make a teenager feel really bad for something they do not have control of. I would highly recommend that you try to understand more about it and be sympathetic.

Hope it helps.
