That is a possibility, keep track of it in a pain /symtom diary.

Hi, I just went to a new fibro doctor this week at a fibro and chronic fatigue center. She looked at my tongue and said it was white, asked me if I was bloated and said I had an overgrowth of yeast. I had just shown my mom my stomach the night before because it was really bloated out. The nurse had said some of the fibro patients have the yeast problem. They took a ton of bloodwork, gave me some supplements and will test further for the yeast problem. I'll let you know what then end up doing, but wanted you to know that it sounded common to them and all they see is fibro people. I am staying of the white flours, pasta, sugar, etc. as the recommend and I know the starches always made me bloat out, now I know why.

Had recurring metallic taste for several years, but neither doctor nor dentist could explain. Research shows that it is a symptom of
fms. Sore tongue may be from teeth clenching during sleep. Hope this helps.

IBS would be something to ask your doctor about regarding the metallic taste you are having
