symptoms change

I am 38 year old female, and diagnosed with FMS. After reading most posts, I realize that I have most of the symptoms that have been discussed on this forum. My question is does anyone go through different symptoms in one days time. For example, for me if I wake up with a back ache, then I will have the back ache and worst throughout the entire day. But on the other hand if I wake up with pains in my arms, the pains will change throughout the day they will travel to my legs or feet or palms of hands and even change in strength. This is so frustrating and I think that the more frustrated you get the worst it is.
Does anyone have the same things going on?

Yes - my symptoms change on at least a daily basis if not hourly. That is one of the "perks" of FMS and the reason it is so hard for most of us to plan anything. You never know what the day will bring. And yes, a high level of frustration/stress will certainly make your symptoms worse. Just do the best the best you can. I find that if I expect to be able to accomplish nothing than anything I do manage to do is something to be grateful for at the end of the day. Part of FMS is letting go of expectations (yours and others) and doing what you can. Easier said than done. Take care.

Fantod,

Thank you for your insight. That's a good way to plan things, I will have to start doing that. I think expecting the worst but feeling better will probably lessen the frustration/stress related with this problem.

Thank you again.
