swollen glands - anybody else?
jrlove - February 14

my wife is going through a difficult time with what we beleive to be fibromyalgia - the muscle pain, almost constant fatigue, unrefreshed sleep, etc, etc. At the last Doctor's visit he noted swollen glands in her armpit and groin, but only on one side. The glands are only slightly swollen and irritated to touch. The doctor is concerned it could be the symptom of something more serious and has ordered blood work and a CT scan. Are swollen glands something that is common with others?

I was looking at this site that tnichel recommended, http://fibromyalgia.lifetips.com/ and it has something about swollen glands and says it is a sign of Chronic Fatigue that sometimes coexists with fibromyalgia.

I have the swollen glands during a flare up. This has always been common with me but you should have it checked out just to be safe.

I often have swollen glands and have been diagnosed with CFIDS (which is chronic fatigue immune disfunction) I have this along with fibromyalgia and about every two weeks I would have swollen glands. I am doing better right now though.
