Swollen axillary lymph nodes
1 Replies

Hi, Everyone

Well came back from my Dr. Appt...& I think I can explain why my fibro is what it is....I will be starting weekly injections to bring my ATP levels up...so I'm excited about getting some energy in my body and alleviating the pain.

On the other hand, my breast ultrasound found several lymph nodes on my breast and on the axilla. Because my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer (stage4)this year, I am concerned about it. However, I was reading on the net that this is common on Fibro patients. Can anyone give me some insight on this?

Your comments will be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Chela

Chela, I have been undiagnosed with FM for years, my GP has tried to convince me there is no such thing! Its my imagination.
Anyway 56yrs ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, which had affected my lymph nodes.
So I think yes there is a link, which I didnt know about.
I was really lucky this year I have had my 5yrs all clear from the big C.
Hope this helps and your results were ok. Let me know how things are going xx
