Sweating

Does anyone with fibro sweat a lot, especially at night?

YES!! I have terrible night sweats. I have had pretty much all the blood tests possible for causes of night sweats, but everything came out normal. Right now I think that fibromyalgia must be the cause. My doctor recently prescribed klonopin to help me sleep (so at least I don't wake up in the middle of the night because of the night sweats). The klonopin seems to be helping with the night sweats. I am not sure if I am sweating less (the last few nights) because of the klonpin or just a coincidence. I can keep you updated if the klonopin is helping.

I sweat alot especially my face, not sure if it's from the pain there? But I do seem to get like hot flashes for years and am not near menopause. I get hot very easily. Are there any medications or something to help??

Yep, I sweat buckets and have taken tablets called probanthine for it for years. They are not without side effects though like dry mouth and sensitive eyes but I couldn't live without them.

I go through spells of excessive sweating and my doctor told me it was a reaction to pain. I started to take note and he was correct. When I look up or look down to an extreme it causes neck pain as I also have degenerative disc disease. Sure enough the unbearable sweats started and usually lasts until I correct the position and then stop and relax for at least 10 minutes
