Does anyone else have pain when they swallow. Sometimes I can feel the food scraping down my throat. I also feel like food gets stuck in my wind pipe and I have constant heartburn. Does anyone else have this happen to them.

I have this usally when taking my meds this is what I have found out.
Patients may have difficulty swallowing which is a result of objective abnormalities in smooth muscle functioning in the esophagus. I have information on my site. http://www.fibromyalgiatalk.com/Symptoms.html
The constant heartburn should be looked at ASAP you can do damage to your esophagus.

Pills get stuck in my throat ALL of the time and then they cause heartburn. I find that I have to eat something right after taking a pill to help it go down. Crackers don't work b/c they are too dry. I found cheese is good b/c it has enough weight to get the pill down but it's smooth enough to where it doesn't get stuck itself. I also drink lots of water during meal times b/c it helps the food go down.
