The book "Hope and Help for Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia" second edition, by Alison Bested, MD and Alan Logan, ND is an excellent read, both as an intro to the conditions and for the experienced patient. It is a Canadian publication and can be found in libraries.

I'd like to add another book:

Oslers Web by Hillary Johnson.

You can google "Oslers Web" and I think you will be astonished by what you read on some of the sites there about chronic fatigue.

I was researching this darn numbness that is migrating and came across a site called BetterHealthGuy.com The guy's name is Scott Forsgren. He's been diagnosed with a bunch of stuff, cfs, lyme etc. The website talks about EVERYTHING that you have been saying.

Cher - THANK YOU. I have bookmarked this site, after a quick look. Highly recommend others go there too!

He talks about the overlap with genetic predisposition towards gluten/celiac disease and mold susceptibility! (Anybody else out there allergic to penicillin or having mold reactions that you maybe don't realize?) If you have these genes, your body can't clean out toxins properly and you get sick!

Very, very interesting info. Thanks again!

January,

I'm so glad I found that site, it's a wealth of information. FYI....there's a Contact Me link and so I sent him an email today. He already wrote back recommending two doctors in my area.
