Markoness - January 5

I have been to plenty of doctors and they cannot figure out why i hurt. I have not been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but I do believe I have it. After being fed up with my most recent doctor telling me there was nothing wrong with my 32 x-rays she took and my blood work I decided to try and find out why I hurt and hwo to get better. This seems like what I have, here are my symptoms tell me what you think.

-lower back pain (constant so much so that it does not hurt me to get hit there or anything because it always hurts)

-fatigue , feel like I have no energy

-heart palpatations , seems like my heart is skipping beats sometimes

-knee pain, they crackle and pop all the time, hurt just like arthritis but have been told i do and i do not have arthritis

-neck pain , hurts and is sore , will almost feel like i am paralyzed in the back of my head if i turn the wrong way quickly to look at something

I sympathize with you Markoness. I started having my first symptoms (leg pains and fatigue) at age 12. To tell you the truth I thought everyone felt like this. So I seldom complained and if I did I was told it was just growing pains. As the years went on I continued to suffer. I went to a doctor again in my early 20's and was told it was my nerves. By the time I hit my 30's I hurt so much and became so depressed I felt suicidal. I went to a doctor again and was told to see a shrink, witch I did, for 9 years. Then one day I came across the syndrome Fibromyalgia on line. When I realized the symptoms fit me like a glove I set up an appointment with a rheumatologist and was dx the first visit with all 18 tender points. He said I had classic Fibromyalgia. That was 5 years ago. I am now 52 years old. I have suffered all your symptoms at one time or another and many more to boot. I am not a doctor but it could very well be fibro. You might want to see a doctor who believes fibro exist. Don't give up. Come back again and keep us posted on how you are doing. We care! Brandy
