Struggling with the pain

Hi all,

It comforts me to read all these posts and remember I'm not alone in this pain and misery! Not enough ppl understand the problems we go through and my friends never seem to understand it properly.

Stress is of course a big trigger in our condition and well I've been stressed and the pain in my shoulders and arms is unbearable!! I don't know what to do! The numbness and tingling in my arm is getting more frequent. I have degeneration in my right shoulder, ankle and wrist and the pain is getting so bad!! I am a piano player and I need to be able to use my hands for everyday things but it's insane!!! What can I do??? I'm trying to teach myself to be a left-hander as well now. I have to be able to use my arms!!

Kristina - Has anyone checked to see if you have bursitis in your shoulders? This is a very common problem among people with Fibromyalgia (FMS). I have it in both hips and shoulders and it can be extremely painful. You should see your orthopedist and see if this may be contributing to your pain issues. Take care.
