Sound of heart beat in ears.

When I am attempting to sleep (which I usually don't succeed at) I hear my heartbeat pounding in my ears. Has this happened to anyone who has FMS?

Yes this happens to me as well, but not all the time, I take high blood pressure med,but even with my pressure under control, I still encounter what you do. When my sinuses are runny I notice this more. I also have scars in my inner cheek from biting my cheek while sleeping from bruxism, I tried a dental appliance but it made me sleep worse. Sorry I dont think there is anything that can help this symptom.

Hi Laura: Blood Pressure can be affected by FMS and CMP so if your hearing your heart beat it may be telling you to see a physician to make sure your blood pressure is in normal range for your age. You can even go to your local health department once a week to have it taken at no cost and they keep track of it and they should be able to tell you if you need to see a doctor or just see your doctor, which ever way you decide.
