Hi there. I had these symptoms a few months ago. Thought it was something bad, so contacted my doctor, turned out to be my fibro acting up in that area. It did go away. I stayed away from spicey foods etc and that helped. Took a few weeks though. Seemslike everytime my fibro attacks some area it lasts a few weeks. Not sure if that is what others have or not.
You probbaly should check with your fibro doctor to make sure though every time you have something new. As I was told, don't blame fibro for everything, it could be more serious.

Is it worse when you have brushed you teeth? Check your toothpaste. Many of them have an ingredient - sodium lauryl sulfate - A good friend of mine saw many doctors for several years trying to find out what was wrong. When she started using the internet - This ingredient is found in many toiletry items and many people are sensitive to it. Most doctors are real familiar with it. It's worth a try.
