Guaifenesin helps a lot.Must be pure guai and not in liquid form. Protocol must be followed. I have taken it for 6 yrs. I am off of pain meds. Here are some sites for info and support.

www.fibro

Also
google Devin Starlanyl, she has an extensive website and a couple of great books that one could borrow from the library.
While I have taken guaifenesin for 6 yrs and it has allowed me to go back to work there is another doctor who disagrees with the way it works but agrees that it does help, His name is Mark London and you can google him for an on-line copy of his research paper.

Guaifenesin has helped me but one needs the book to understand how to take it properly.
When I was at my worse Flexeril helped with muscle spasms and burning sensations. Melatonin helps a lot of people with sleep problems. It can be bought at Wal-Mart and even Dollar General Stores as well as many others. Ambien is great for sleep, must talk to your doctor. When you are having a bad day it is widely agreed upon that no pain meds can stop the pain of fibro...only dull it. Relaxation tapes helps me. Fibromites are tense a lot of the time. I am not an expert just had this disease for about 9 yrs and I am better now,, just want to share what I think helps.

Sorry but i don't trust anything that is sold off of a website, and or if it sounds like some sort of sales pitch, I trust my doctor now, and that relationship took work, anything that promises a cure to this disease is probably to good to be true just be careful especially if they ask for a credit card. God Bless.
