Sinus problems and headache pain
4 Replies

Do most of you feel like you have a dull headache all day in the back of your head. I am certain it is from poor sleep. Also my sinuses are swollen all the time and I can hear popping in the middle of the night in my nasal canal/cavity like I might have sinus infection in there. My teeth do hurt at times mildy and if I lean forward far enough liquid sometimes runs out my nose. So I wonder if this is a sinus infection that the xrays cant see. Doctors like to call this chronic rhinitis, but I am tired of it.

I used to have this. Tell your ear, nose and throat or your regular doctor you need singulair. Miracle! I promise it will go away. I went thru this and all the doctors kept telling me the same. Finally when I moved to Dallas I got a great ear, nose and throat doctor and he said I needed singulair. It blocks the lueketrienes back in the nose that all the other allergy meds don't do. If you don't have an ear, nose and throat doctor (Otolaryngologists) try and get one. Good luck!

I had sinus pain and troubles in the early phases of my fibromyalgia - when i didn't know what was wrong with me. Once diagnosed, I was put on Elavil to help me get into REM sleep. This seems to have solved the problem for me.

Try Sudafed PE. It's Phenylephrine.

Sinusitis can be severely exacerbated by FMS. Google fibromyalgia and sinusitis.
