I live in the NW and we have four seasons. Our winters are pretty harsh and im not looking forward to another one. I am great during the summer. Does anyone have a suggestion of where the best place to live is. Everyone that I talk to says where not to move (texas, california, arizona). I need a place that also has great schools, low crime rate.

I am in Florida and love it. If you are very affected by cold, the further south the better. Northern areas (Ocala and points north) still can get some pretty chilly winter temps. I am in Orlando and it is pretty good weather wise. You need to make sure you can handle our humidity, though. I have been in FL my whole life, so I can handle it but a lot of northerners have trouble adjusting. If you have trouble adjusting, then you would be better off in the southwest where it is dryer.

check out the south. Here you will have hot and cold but moderate.
