Restless legs syndrome

Hi! I have been told by my physician that I have restless legs syndrome. But, I have the pain also in my arms, hands, feet, joints, neck, jaw, etc. It is all over my body and I cannot say that it is pain but a different kind of pain that is tolerable but very very uncomfortable. I also have all other symptoms of fibromyalgia like IBS, fatigue, headaches, allergies, depression, anxiety, dysmenorrhea, sensitive hearing and vision, bruising easy, sleeping problems, waking up tired and feeling like I have the flu, trouble gripping and lifting things, etc. The only lacking problem is the shooting pain, that I don't have. Its pain but a different kind of pain. Do you think I may have this syndrome or just accept that it is restless legs?

This is very suspicious, you need to see a rheumatologist and find out. If you don't have medical insurance, get it BEFORE you are diagnosed.

I have alot of the same problems and was diagnosed last year with FMS after numerous tests to rule out everything else. I don't have shooting pain all of the time, mostly when I have bad flare ups. The pain I have is migratory so my whole body doean't hurt all of the time. I mostly have the flu-like achiness all the time with the other symptoms but do have stronger pains near some of my trigger points and center joints.

Thank you Michelle and Kim! I have an appointment to see a rheumatologist soon. Now I can definitely feel pain when I press, or even just poke, my muscles.

Restless leg syndrome can be anywhere in the body according to my readings and if put on the proper medication it would be most helpful.
