Has anyone had pain that is in the groin(mostly on left side),lower back, hips, calves and to the feet? I was given Celebrex and told by dr. to come back in three weeks and if the pain is still there, have a mri.

I have a lot of lower back pain also which travels down the siatic joint. I had x-rays done nothing really abnormal chalk up another one to FMS. You should have the mri there may be a joint or disc problem.

Thank you Lynne. It's great to have this forum to share with others. Most people look at me like I'm crazy for having pain everyday.

I have a siatic problem on the left side, but also slipped down the stairs a few years ago. I broke a toe but more seriously damaged the cartlidge in my knee. It took 2-1/2 years before my MD sent me to an orthopod. But by then I had developed ITB.. Ilio-tibia-band syndrome. It originates in the knee and shoots out pain both up and down the leg. Does that sound familiar? I would get horrible cramps on the inside of my leg, all the way into my groin. Since then I've had surgery for the damaged cartlidge/bone spurs and do daily stretches. It's improved, but once again, it's almost impossible to be "cured" for this. Insist on a trip to a specialist if the pain gets worse, not like me... waiting 2-1/2 years is awful.

Hi Mike; I was on Celebrex for a few months, it didn't help me though, I've still got the pain in my lower back and neck and my hands are really sore. I wish you luck. Yours in Healthy living, Chris2
