Red Light Therapy for FMS?
Norrie - January 26

A friend at church just told me about the relief she is getting from this treatment. I had never heard of it. She goes to a tanning place to get this. Has anyone had experience with this Red Light Therapy? Can anyone suggest where I might read about it?
Thanks
Norrie

Hi Norrie - Don't know anything about red light therapy… but the weird thing is, I always felt really good when I used to have red lights in my room at night. Mostly did this years ago, when I was in school.

Since I now have insomnia, I've read a lot about the bad effects of light that has a lot of blue in it - that would be things like computer screens and TV plus some of our regular artificial lighting. The blue light interferes with melatonin production in your brain. I have been wondering if I should try red light again - because it made me feel relaxed. I'd be interested to know about this red light therapy - what it supposedly does??
