progression of pain and symtoms

does fybromyalgia progress. Do you get new symtoms as time goes by.

Kim-Sorry to say, but from what I have read & researched, yes your symptroms can get worse. I know my pain has gotten worse at times so there can be an eb &tide in some people with CFS/Fibro.

Unfortunately, I have to say I agree that symptoms worse or change and multiply as time goes by. I was dxd 7 years ago with fatigue, numbness, throbbing pain in leg muscles, etc. Now to add to my list I have the fibro head, extreme neck pain, traveling numbess and pins and needles, sleep problems and of course restless leg syndrome. So, the best we can do is just keep plugging on! I am not sure that it actually progresses, but it does change. Hang in there and try to find the little blessings of everyday.

Yes , your symptoms can get worse if you don't follow the ways that help you feel better.
There are good days and bad days but stick to what helps you the most with your medications, stretching, and exercise depending on your condition.
