Regarding pressure on certain points causing pain. Can this pressure be the pressure of sleeping in certain positions e,g, on ones hip or knees?

Hi Kaye: Fibromyalgia has tender points and I would assume that to be true. Myofascial Pain Syndrome has trigger points which refers pain. A Rheumatologist or GP if they treat these conditions can and should explain this occurances to you for you to understand. Does your doctor take the time? Most don't.I'm sorry if I sound short but being on this site I have found out that alot of doctors just don't give a damn at times and I'm sure it's probably frustration on there part in making a true diagnosis because there are so many other conditions that mimic this Fibromyalgia and all that comes with it. Take Care.

Hi Kaye,
Oh yes. I tell you I had a really stiff bed and I could tell when I woke up in the morning which side I had slept on most. I went out and bought the softest largest pillowtop matress I could and was sleeping great until the weather changed.
Soft Gentle Hugs
Danielle
