Pain in legs and arms
3 Replies
[email protected] - September 2

I have not yet been diagnosed, and am sceptical that doctors just say fybromyalgia because they don't know what else to say......I have had aches in my legs and arms for 2 years now. Does this sound like regular symptoms

Well it depends, is it chronic pain? Do you have any swelling? The problem is Fibromyalgia affects everyone differently. Alot of people have the same symptoms but in different parts of the body. Mine is my chest, arms, shoulders, back and some in my legs. I know that personally I have pain everyday but the level of pain changes. What kind of tests have the Dr's done? Have you had Physical Therapy? Fibromyalgia is a very diffucult diagnosis to get because the symptoms vary from person to person. I hope in some way this has helped. Just remember your not alone. Take care and God bless.

You need to accurately diagnosed preferably by a specialist who has an interest in the problem. There are tests using trigger points on the body to assist with diagnosis. I had this done at a public hospital by a rheumatologist.
