JAYNE - October 21

with fibromyalgia does it feel like your bones are breaking

My left knee feels that way during flare-ups, otherwise I just ache all over joints, muscles and sometimes even my teeth, each day is different I never know what to expect.

Hi Jayne: Fibromyalgia means sore muscles. It also affects the tendons and ligaments that attach the muscles to the bones. I'm thinking you are experiencing tightness in the ligaments and tendons. Best way to combat that is to do stretching exercises to pull the tendons and ligaments out so they can release and relax. Muscle relaxers help. If you have TMJ, the feeling is about the same you have to stretch your jaw and open your mouth wide to work the ligaments, tendons and muscles. Try Stretching every day and keep moving at a pace you won't over do. Hope this helped.
