Oxycotin withdrawl or Fibromylagia?
dave - August 11

I had suffered from digenerative disc diseace for many, many years and took various opiates leading up to Oxycotin. The past two years I have been chronicly tired, I literally could lie in bed all day and night and never feel refreshed and I did suffer from bone, joint and muscle pain, but because I was taking Oxycotin for pain, I would always assume it was directly related. I received disc replacement surgery 3 1/2 months ago and have reduced, over time my Oxycotin intake. I was at 3 x 80 Mg 3 times a day (720 Mg). I am down to 3 x 40 Mg, 3 times a day (120 Mg). I did this over a period of less than two weeks with great pain and withdrawal. I still want to sleep all day, my body hurts (bones) from head to toe, my muscles are extremely painful and I sleep less than 4 hours a day. I have, as I said earlier, had these symptoms prior to my huge doses of Oxycotin. My fear is Doctors will link it to my opiate use. How can I find out if it is fibromylagia or just the misfortunes of de-toxin from Oxycotin? And if it is due to detoxification, is there anything I can do to minimize the pain and fatigue.
