What kind of doctors did you have to got to to get your fibromyalgia diagnosed? Is it hard to get a doctor to take you seriously and actually run enough tests on you to exclude all but fibromyalgia??

Make an appointment with a good Rheumatoligist. The doctor will check your tender points and will be be trained in diagnosing FM. and treating it. As far as I know most GP"s still don't know much about FM or some still deny it's existence.

I even went to a Neurologist That is still denying Fibromyalgia's existence

I just went to my regular primary care physician. After all of the testing (tons of blood work, ekg's, etc), ruling out everything else, and telling him about my mother being diagnosed with FMS, he diagnosed me and we started trying to figure out a management plan for my pain, stress, and other symptoms.
