New to forum, and FM diagnosis

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and was just recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was looking at the site and saw the associated conditions and I have to say I am amazed. Per my doctor's, I also have Raynaud's Phenomenon, Anemia, and Hypoglycemia, it honestly blew me away to see that these are all associated with the Fibromyalgia. I recently lost my job because of the disorder. Well, actually, more dealing with the pain while my doctor did every test and tried every conceivable other option before sending me to a rheumatologist for an official diagnosis. That took 2 months.

Anyway, sorry to ramble just wanted to introduce myself.

Thanks!
Stef

Hi Steffykaye - Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of good information here (except from Robin1237). I hope your rheumatologist is helpful to you. We seem to have a plethora of doctors "treating" FMS by not doing even the bare minimum. It end to think of my physicians as my employees. If they are not helpful or don't seem to care, I find someone new. You have a lot on your plate to deal with medically. Best of luck to you.

Hi steffykaye-You will find alot of support here. Even though this disease is terrible to live with, it does help to speak to others who know exactly how you are feeling. I have gotten a lot of help, advise and support from the people here and I am sure you will too. Take care and keep in touch with all of us.
