Having FM is difficult to deal with. It's not in your head although some people may think that. My DR. gives me different pills to see what works for me. I have not tried the Lyrica yet because of its side effects. I'm sure when the pain gets to a certain point I will try it. My doctor put me on Celexa which is wonderful and i could'nt live without it now. It helps alot with the anxiety and depression that comes from having fibro. You are lucky to have people in you'r family who understand some of what .you'r going through.

It is not in your head, it is real pain no matter what anyone tells you. If it is someone who has not been down this road it is hard for them to understand what is going on with your body. Good luck hon!

Yes it is good to have someone to support you. I think my husband thinks I'm crazy. I think it is hard for him to understand. So for support all I have is my doctor.

I just keep on trying to teach them with all the latest research. It'll take a while but eventually people get it.
