Ok so i received an email saying about this progesterone and most fibro's having low levels of this. This concerns me, as i have not yet had kids, but want to one day soon.
Anyway i rang my gp and asked her to do a test to check my level, and she started asking me which kind of test i needed, cos there are a few apparently, and she wont do it till i tell her which kind i need. I have no idea, and it doesn't specify on the website (not that i've noticed).
Does anyone know exactly which test it would have to be?
I would be so grateful!! :)

purple-chick,

the best advice I can give you is that your GP needs to send you to a fertility specialist. They know what tests need to be done and they need to be done during certain times of your cycle. It doesn't matter if you want to get pregnant or just find out if you are okay to get pregnant, they will be able to help you. this is out of a GP's medical range. Possibly your gynocologist could help you too.

One more thing, it takes different blood test to find out if your fertility is there. My daughter has gone through extensive test. Blood test, ultra sounds etc. Good Luck
