My doctor just prescribed Mirapex (Thu 09/06). Has anyone else tried this yet?

MIRAPEX is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of moderate to severe primary restless legs syndrome. MIRAPEX can also be used to treat Parkinson’s disease. .

My doctor wants me to try it. But my insurance will not pay for it.

Hi, just joined...I never realized that so many of my symptoms could be attributed to Fibro!! Doc also diagnosed me with Post Polio, and I just focused on that...okay, mirapex...I take that for "restless body" and twitching, didn't realize it was for Fibro. What an eye opener, tonight I just can't get over it.

Restless leg is one of the many possible symptoms of fibromyalgia.

My doctor just prescribed 0.25 mg today for me. I already take Cymbalta, flexeril, topomax and vicodin. He's replacing the topomax with the mirapex. I am having a horrible bout and I hope it works.
