Metallic taste in the back of my throat...

This started last night and it's still bothering me today. I have to say, this is a new one for me, and was wondering if anyone had it and what they did about it. I googled it and I guess it is pretty common with a cold or infection, or maybe a post nasal drip with allergies. Anyone else go through this??

Hi! I just switched from Ambien to Lunesta. It seems as though I have a funny metallic taste in the morning. Could it be a med?

I've had metallic taste from different medications. Is it possible you got some toxins in your body? For example, have you been using pesticides or herbicides that you might have inhaled or absorbed through your skin?

You may have a spinal cord leak.. A doctor friend of mine had that really bad when she her spinal fluid was leaking.. she had multiple surgeries to correct this problem

Actually it's been a flare up of my oral lichen planus which I was diagnosed with a couple of years ago. I'm using my prescription rinse, but it doesn't really seem to be helping this time. I may need to go to the doctor again. Oh joy...
