i am a fibromyalgia sufferer i am writting a book on it i am interested men who suffer from it as i would be interesting to see if it affects men as it does a woman if i could take a few moment of you time to tell me what happened to you before you were diagnosed, how long you had fibro, how does it affect you, do you beleive that it is more of a womans illness or do you think that men are equially likely to develop it they are less like likey to see their gps

Hi I a 40 year old male and also an active duty military member. My FMS consist of tingling numbness aches in my legs. Lately I can feel small vibrations in my feet also. I'm on Zoloft for anxiety and take flexeril for muscle spasms which seem to be the most of my worriers lately. I have spoken with women with FMS and it seems to me they are more affected by pain than men are. However I have read were men also couldn't move or even get out bed. I hope this information helped.
