HI
I HAVE HAD FIBRO FOR 4 YRS A LONG WITH HYPO THYRIOD, PRE DIABETIS,CHRONIC PANCEITITIS,AND COMPLICATED MIGRAINS.IS THERE ANYONE ELES LIVING WITH ALL OF THESE ISSUES. I WORK AND DEAL WITH IT WELL , BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO TALK WITH SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT CAN RELATE.

Oh yes, I can relate but on a different level. I also have diabetes, which is controlled by pills, atrial fibrillation with I have to be on warfarin, and of course the big F. one.....fibro. It does seem to take time, to attend to all these things. I have even resorted to taking melatonin for night time sleeping, and darn it all it works. I do not want to come off all meds for sleep even though this melatonin does work. I only take a half at night instead of a whole one. I am always doing that seeing if I can get by with less.

Hi wonnievt, welcome to the forum:)
Many of us fibromites have many disorders, I myself suffer with migraines, gerd, mps, vertigo, etc.... I suffer with extreme abdominal cramps, though not chronic pancreatitis. From what I've read diabetes can be developed as a result of pancreatitis. I'm so sorry for the pain that you're dealing with.
I believe that all of us on this forum can relate in one way or another. Fibromyalgia is an all encompassing disorder that effects every aspect of our health it seems. The more reading I do the more I'm amazed at what a complicated disorder fibro is.
Any time you need to talk we're all here for you.
Take care, Patty

Hi, like many others, I also have many medical conditions and it does make life hard. Apart from fibro I am deaf in one ear and also have M.E./C.F.S., osteoarthritis, asthma, restless legs syndrome, migraines, ezema, hiatus hernia, gerd, high blood pressure, a blood clotting disorder, bouts of depression, bouts of anaemia, and all the disorders like IBS that are associated with fibromyalgia. Oh dear, it has made me feel down just listing everything. I must go and do something more positive!

Hello Wonnievt, I understand your situation. although I was diagnose with FMS only 2 weeks ago, I have suffered for 7 years. I have hypothryoid, very bad IBS, lactose intolerance, major depression, anxiety, migraines, anemia, restless leg syndrome, asthma and dizziness. I have been tested for 7 years for all of that, no knowing what it is. Now, I know it's FMS. however, even if you have fibro, make sure that when you get new symptoms, you mention it to your doctor and get it checked out. Many things can be associated with fibro but not everything. not being taken seriously may be of consequences. Take care!
